Is Yuse free?
Yes, for homeowners and for friends who recommend. Tradespeople pay once to get a homeowner's details, and that's how Yuse makes money.
Who pays the £5?
Yuse pays it, not you or the tradesperson. After the job, you choose which recommender earns it, once you've confirmed the job was done and their recommendation was accurate. One £5 per job.
Who gets my phone number?
Only the tradespeople you pick, three at most, and only once they've chosen to get your details. Nobody else gets it from Yuse.
Why is it invite-only?
We're starting with friends and family so we can get it right before anyone else joins. If a friend sends you their link, you can join from it.
What if my friends haven't used anyone?
Your link works in any WhatsApp chat, and it can be passed on, so friends of friends can answer too.
Does Yuse recommend tradespeople?
No. Your people do. Yuse never ranks anyone or puts anyone first.
Where does Yuse work?
Anywhere in the UK. Cost estimates use London prices for a London postcode and UK prices everywhere else.
For tradespeople
How much does a lead cost?
It depends on the size of the job: £10, £20, £30, £50 or £75, the same for every tradesperson on it. You pay only when a homeowner picks you and you choose to get their details. Your first three are free.
How pricing worksHow do my checks work?
We check your photo ID, your insurance, your company details, and Gas Safe, NICEIC or similar if your work needs it. You can be picked while they run, and you get the homeowner's details once they pass.
How do I stop job alerts?
Turn off "Job alerts" in your profile. Anyone who picks you while they're off is told you're not taking jobs right now. You can turn them back on there too.
